Sony Makes a Patent Move for Kinect Style Controller

Feeling the heat of competition form both Nintendo and Microsoft, Sony has bought the patent for a new motion-based controller to compete with the Kinect gaming system for the Xbox 360. No word has been said on whether or not they will be creating a new type of gaming configuration, but seeing that they already have motion-based controllers like the Wii, as well as the success of the EyeToy a few years ago, it’s most likely in development.
